Black Sabbath Heaven and Hell / Van Halen 1984 These two both have the angels smoking cigarettes motif. I would venture to say that Eddie and Diamond Dave bit Iommi and co, considering that Heaven and Hell came out 4 years prior. 1984 has a slight edge because its a baby angel with a cuter face. Although I dig the fact that the lady angels are playing cards as well. Musically, I would say Black Sabbath owns Van Halen on heavy riffs alone. However,David Lee Roth is one of the best frontmen in rock history. Ronnie James Dio (replacing Ozzy) is a wee(no pun intended) bit corny. So BS < VH.
